The cosy, rustic interior set the tone, with dim lighting and soft music there was an almost homey ambiance to the restaurant. The food here is more than just a meal—it’s an experience. Though I was too caught up in enjoying the moment to snap the perfect food shots, that, to me, is a testament to how good it was.
One key recommendation if you're planning a visit: try to snag a seat at the kitchen counter. We were lucky enough to sit there, and it turned our meal into a memorable experience. Watching the chefs work right in front of us brought an intimate, behind-the-scenes feel to the evening, and the friendly staff made us feel right at home.
I was not on top form taking food shots on my visit but I think that's a credit to how good the food was. After visiting last November, I still think about their Buttermilk rice pudding; I could have easily taken a bucket load of it home with me with no shame. With a menu changing every month, I can't guarantee I'll be reunited with the pudding again but I'm sure there are some gorg new desserts lined up this month!
