Stir Coffee is the best café in South London, and that's not just not just for the coffee, but a credit to the owner Anton and his staff that really make it (and the dog-friendly-ness, captured below!)
With large windows looking out onto Brixton Hill, Stir Coffee is at the heart of Brixton and is always bustling with life. During the two years I lived here, it was my go-to spot—perfect for remote work with its spacious co-working tables and an ideal weekend destination for breakfast or lunch. It was also one of the places that made me truly sad to leave the area!
This is a place with a true independent spirit, featuring local suppliers on its shelves, from specialty coffee beans to small-batch hot sauces.
The coffee and sandwiches are amazing, and its just one of those spots that feels like a true part of the area. If you're in the area, venture beyond Brixton Village and see for yourself what Stir is all about!
