Pahli Hill Bandra Bhai
Pahli Hill is an informal restaurant featuring traditional Indian cuisine and a vintage-style cocktail bar.
Price range: ££
I have always declared that Indian is my favourite cuisine, yet it is incredibly rare that I actually go out for Indian food other than your standard curry house, so this was a real treat!
Pahli Hill is featured on the Michelin Guide and has been awarded 'Bib Gourmand' for great food at a more reasonable price. Although it was certainly more than I'd spend when out dining, it was definitely worth the money! If you're looking to eat some of your favourite Indian dishes, Pahli Hill certainly delivers but with an elevated culinary experience. We ordered a range of the big plates and shared as a table of four, meaning we were able to try a range of flavours and dishes. My personal favourite was the Wild Sea Bass and the Homestyle Fish Curry -- it was amazing to try fish on a menu where I'm almost always drawn to the chicken!
